Return Policy
RETURN POLICY
- All returns must be accompanied by the original receipt.
- All refunds are issued in the same form as original payment.
- Special orders and clearance merchandise sales are final.
All returns and exchanges must be brough to the HVCC Troy bookstore. If other arrangements are required, please call 518-629-7157.
Physical Textbooks and Access Cards:
- Refunds are given no later than 14 calendar days from the first day of class for Spring and Fall semester in which they are sold and 7 calendar days for Summer and Sprint sessions. To receive a full refund, book must not be marked or damaged and still in original packaging. Physical access cards and codes must still be in their sealed packaging and original condition.
VitalSource eBooks:
Refunds are given within 14 calendar days of the purchase date. You must not have viewed or printed more than 20% of the eBook or not viewed or redeemed the publisher’s access code. VitalSource does not allow returns outside of these parameters and is unable to process refunds through our registers. For further information, please visit VitalSource.
General Merchandise & Clothing:
Returnable within 14 calendar days of the purchase date in brand new condition with original tags.
All Electronics:
- Calculators, computers and other electronics are non-refundable to the bookstore. Customers should contact the manufacturer for warranty information.
